Dr. Strawhecker has retired!

Dr. Strawhecker plays an integral part of the Apple Family Dental team. He was accepted into UNMC school of dentistry after his third year at UNL. He earned his doctorate of dental surgery (D.D.S.) in 1985 from UNMC. Terry and Tata have been working as a team since 1997. Dr.Strawhecker and his wife Judy have been married for more than 37 years with 2 children. In his free time, he enjoys staying physically fit by cycling, walking, and kayaking. He also enjoys following Husker volleyball. What he loved most about his job are the people he gets to work with everyday.
Welcome Dr. Joey Machado
Dr. Joseph “Joey” Machado
Dr. Joseph Machado is a native of Omaha, Nebraska, and a graduate of Creighton Preparatory High School. He is the son of Dr. Jose “Tata” Machado. Dr. Machado earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Nebraska–Omaha, where he was a member of the university’s baseball team. He then went on to attend the Creighton University School of Dentistry. Dr. Machado is committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care and takes pride in building strong, lasting relationships with those he serves. He believes that trust, communication, and individualized treatment are essential to achieving optimal oral health outcomes. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Machado enjoys spending time with his wife, Jaclyn, golfing, building LEGOs, and attending sporting events. He is an avid supporter of the Omaha Mavericks baseball team and the Creighton Blue jays basketball team.
